Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars

Meaningful change begins by serving where you can make the greatest impact. Encouraged by leaders who reminded me that everyone starts somewhere, I am running for Ward 1 Councillor to bring fresh ideas, listen to residents, strengthen our neighbourhoods, and help Mississauga thrive through practical, community-focused leadership.

I believe we are here for a short time, and each of us has a responsibility to leave our community and our planet better than we found them. That belief has shaped my life and inspired me to enter public service. I don’t see leadership as ruling over others; I see it as stewardship—listening, protecting, building, and planting seeds for the generations that follow.

As a proud Mississaugan, I have watched our city grow from a collection of neighbourhoods into one of Canada’s most diverse communities. I’m proud of where we’ve come from and grateful to those who helped build the city we know today. I want to help strengthen the connections between our people, businesses, neighbourhoods, and natural spaces.

I believe true prosperity comes from opportunity, ownership, and community. Whether we are supporting local businesses, making housing more attainable, empowering young people, or exploring regenerative approaches to agriculture, urban design, and water management, our decisions should create lasting value and leave Mississauga stronger than we found it.

Public service, to me, is an act of gratitude—for the opportunities I’ve been given and for the community that helped shape me. I want to give back by helping build a city that is resilient, affordable, connected, and ready for the future. The decisions we make today should be ones our children and grandchildren can be proud of tomorrow.
